Mommy guilt
I took Monday off.
Mostly for our anniversary but also lots because I have a lot of vacation and sick time built up and it caps at 40 hours and I gotta spend some before June and lalala.
Regardless. I do NOT appreciate the guilt from the mommys. You aren’t going to be here? WHAT?! Who could possibly know how to properly sunscreen my little girl?
OK. chill. I left a note for the sub. It’s gonna be fine. Promise. Hillary has clear instructions on the art project. We’ll get through this together. Especially all that I’m planning for Mother’s Day. These mommys don’t even know. Must I take care of everything?
Anyway, I watched the most amusing Q&A with Kevin Smith last night on Netflix. The Westboro Baptist Church were a hot topic (did you see Red State?) Hysterical. He answered their nonsense with nonsense. Their signs say “God Hates Fags” Kevin Smith’s sign says “Dick Tastes Yummy” in glitter. He gathered a posse of people with signs. “Shirley, you can’t be serious” (Shirley Phelps) and one of my favorites “God hates the Phelps’ family, except Megan, she’s hot” And other some such chaos and then someone asked why bother about them at all “if they’re here amusing me, they aren’t protesting a funeral”
So that was last night, Adam really likes the new Dorito tacos at taco bell. Surprised? Nobody.
I’m so freaking excited for Monday I could scream.
When I get tired
and a little silly I make Adam describe the things he likes about my dogs
He likes how Elvis can be wearing a collar but you can’t see it because it’s all caught up in his neck rolls. Teheheee
Oh, he’s up to something.
Last time Adam acted this shady I ended up engaged.
…is he out knocking me up on his own?
I feel Better!!!
I adore my husband! I love love love him. He’s so wonderful. We have this compromise thing down.
Will you make koolaid?
if you do the dishes.
can I play video games tonight?
You fold the laundry?
OK. Ok.
WE GOT THIS.
About to have our first anniversary and in celebration going to see The Great American Trailor Park Musical. Also, dining at Sapputos. NOM
YAY!
St. Louis plans may be altered. Adam Sp. may not be able to come. Adam and I are likely to go anyway. (though more than half the fun would be in Ohio) I do like an occasion to dress up my Romeo.
I am keeping a list of big deal chicken salad places in case someone might like to pay a visit :). Incredibly Delicious and The Feed Store.
I made man-pleasing quesadillas tonight. They were on the table when he got home. Laundry going. Worked a full nine hours. Come at me! I am feeling pretty good indeed.
